With over 20 years as a financial professional, Elijah Heath CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, is dedicated to helping individuals and families pursue their financial goals. He uses his established processes in an effort to address quality investments with the appropriate financial goal, taking into consideration his clients’ comfort zone, risk, and volatility into account. Elijah’s experience through many different market cycles provides the understanding to help his clients structure the proper portfolio allocation striving to weather the storms of uncertainty.
Elijah has invested 15 years of his financial career at Edward Jones where he was previously awarded a partnership in the firm.
Elijah was looking to better serve his clients with additional products and services through an independent financial services firm when he found a great fit with LPL Financial. He now services his clients from his Brandon office.
Elijah earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. He holds the Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 securities registrations, all held with LPL Financial. He also has earned several designations that show his depth of knowledge and experience while requiring him to fulfill an ongoing education requirement. These designations include CFP®, ChFC®, and CLU®, which give him the ability to create a customized strategy for his clients.
Elijah has lived in the Brandon area for over 40 years and is committed to making his community a better place to live, work and play. He is a past president of the Rotary Club of Bloomingdale/FishHawk and has served on the board in a number of different capacities over the years. He is the co-founder of this club’s successful ongoing fundraiser, the Winthrop Crawfish Festival, which has raised in excess of $100,000.00 for local charities. He earned the title of 2013 Honorary Mayor of Riverview as a result of the funds he has raised for local charities. He was the 2017 President of the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce and continues to serve the chamber and its members in a number of capacities throughout his years of service. In 2018 he was awarded an accommodation by the Hillsborough County Commissioners for his work with the Chamber.
Elijah has been married to his wife, Mara Shaughnessy, for over 20 years. They reside in FishHawk. They have two adult children, Joseph, a senior at USF, and Baylei, a recent the University of South Florida graduate. When away from the office, Elijah loves to be active outdoors, especially on the water. He and his wife love to travel and are always planning their next trip of a lifetime.
